GreenZen Poké & Matcha Bar

GreenZen is a compact food and beverage space within Canada Water station, developed as the brand’s first permanent flagship store, which opened in January 2019.

The design made efficient use of a small unit, organising it around clearly defined preparation, washing, serving and display zones so that the needs of the food business sit comfortably alongside the customer experience.

A continuous oak-clad service counter is the principal element, incorporating the salad bar, bain-marie, till and displays. High-level seating and simple timber elements keep the floor open, while the glazed frontage maintains visibility to the station concourse.

The work developed from space planning and operational zoning through interior studies to detailed fit-out proposals, coordinating equipment and services within the restricted footprint.
