Procaffeinated

KOA Architecture was appointed to prepare the Building Regulations package for the fit-out of Procaffeinated, an independent speciality coffee shop.

The work translated the proposed café layout into a coordinated technical submission, including the floor plan, fire-safety provisions, electrical and lighting layouts, drainage and water services, and coordination of the kitchen and customer areas.

Particular consideration was given to the requirements of a commercial food and beverage environment: means of escape, emergency lighting and signage, fire detection, kitchen equipment and services, and sanitary provision.

The completed café retains an open, industrial character, combining exposed services, high ceilings and suspended planting with simple timber and steel furniture.
